Family and Simple Pleasure

Bear brother's been in hospital
He's had another bout
Of lack of equilibrium
But now, clap hands, he's out.
Other brother's steadiness
Is questionable, alas,
And generally when puffing up
A hill, he's short on gas.
Youngest brother Merry Ted
Is thus far not afflicted
He has slight problems lower down
Yet limbs are not constricted.
He thinks he is a lucky bear
Enjoying simple pleasures
Fair health, kind friends, good family
Are what our Ted most treasures.
Schemes to build up pounds and pence
Concern him not a jot
He far prefers to dip his paw
In runny honey pot.
