Sun Scorched

Ted’s travelling miles away today

To meet up with his clan.

He can’t recall where all reside

But thinks it is Oman.

Where’er it be, ’tis very hot

With ne’er a spit of drizzle.

‘Neath shaggy hair of one such bear,

Insides must surely sizzle.

For Ted, it’s an enigma,

When all is said and done,

Why his kind chose a domicile

Of sand and searing sun.
